A story by Ruhee
Being an ant isn’t easy. Everyday, there’s a chance you might get killed. If I were an ant, there is a 99.9 percent chance I won’t dominate the world.
If you were an ant, you’d wake up in the morning in an ant hill underground near a school . On your desk are your farewell goodbye notes you’ll give to your close relatives in case you don’t make it. You put on non Anti-ant repellant so you won’t have to breate in that toxin. Afterwards, you get out off the ant hill with the whole gang….. and give the notes. Time to get some food!!!!
In the outside world, kids are out for recess at school. you and your team have to be EXTRA careful to not go near the playground so you won’t get stepped on. Feet are one of the main causes of death in ants. Suddenly, a kid and his crew wander off the playground. You hear “Wow, an ant hill!’’. You also hear fast footsteps. Luckily, some ants in your team took ant protection classes. The team gets prepared just in time for the kids not to see you crawling away. You’re proud that they are the only ants that took those secret courses from the Queen ant, otherwise known as “Lifesaver!”. Angrily, the teacher of the boys says “Charles,Walter, Isacc, you can’t be outside the playground where it’s hard for us to see you!’’, “Come back right now!’’. Yay! After everyone goes back inside, you and your team go around the playground areas and sneak into the cafeteria through a crack without mishab. You see crumbs right when enter the kitchen. You and your team grab them all and return to the hill with some bumps along the way.
For some people, ants are digusting creatures that ruin your appetite. But you should realize that animals have a life too and we should care about it. Take your bugs in the house back outside instead of killing them right away. If they are “too much to handle” then do as you like. {Not encouraging it at all}. Anyways, respect who you are! Even if you’re tiny, you still have a lot of power!
