Fudge a Mania is about a boy named Peter Hatcher and is crazy little brother Fudge or Farley. The Hatcher Family is going to Maine for summer vacation in a house. But they are sharing the ‘’’connected’’’ house with Sheila and her family for three weeks! His brother wants to marry Sheila Tubman with big plans.
The five year old Farley and Peter have lots of adventures in Maine. Fudge meets Mrs. A, Mitzi, and Big. There is a town near there house with lots of shops like the library and the bike shop. Peter almost swallowed a fly while riding his bike to the library. They made a club called the I.S.A.F club. The club stands for I swallowed a fly club. There is a librarian named Izzy and Bob who runs the bicycle shop.
Peter’s brother likes his nickname Fudge more than Farley. In a restaurant, Peter calls Fudge Farley. Fudge screams ‘’’I am not Farley, I am Fudge!’’’ The waiter thought he was talking about the dessert fudge. His dad had to explain to the waiter they were talking about nicknames.
