”I Am… ” { Poem }

There are many reasons to know enough to think you’re right, but not enough to realize you’re wrong

Some of those reasons can make someone realize who am I, a human I was destined to be

Why am I struggling to find my passions in life and not worry about others

Identity keeps our mind fresh and steady like a gentle river in a thicket

It is surrounded by other ” people” who try to drive you away from your true identity

Meanwhile, you are focused on the moment you are living in and the person who has influenced you

Identity is found deep inside the heart, you have to dig harder and harder each try to find it

Let’s dig up mine

I was born in a city, where the light bulb was discovered.. Science got a new meaning

Even if it wasn’t the basilica, it was a place where new souls were brought to life every day

I grew up with my small family where love is abundant

Lots of memories were made in my house; some joyful and many worth cherishing

Memories help shape identities as humans which is why I keep them as young as they can be

I choose to talk less, read and write more, but it doesn’t matter

My appetite was like toxic teenage friends who just hang out for attention; some days I would like food and some days I would hate food

Even after all mistakes and learning from my life, my entire self is ready to move ahead for a bright and kind future

Now that we have finally found the ”Forest Fenn Treasure Chest deep in the mountains of New Mexico”, find your heart that is abuzz with creative ideas, hopes, and dreams

Life can be a blur but identity still stays intact in all of the human’s senses

Always remember there’s much more- to you than your body

It’s the brain, the heart and the soul brought from the holy hospital that add up to make you

The treasure chest is filled with gold, but it is also filled with pride !
