….. I heard a faint knock on my door while watching the news at 11pm
I walked very slowly to the door and looked through the peephole since I was very suspicious about the timing of this event
I saw a little girl who talked like she was 9, but didn’t look like age 9
She was out of breath and very thin
So I opened the door trying to retain my shock
She said hello and asked for a sip of water
Water!? Wouldn’t she already have it at home I thought very surprised
She said she doesn’t have water so I let her inside to sit down and chat with me
She drank water with a very relaxed and brilliant face saying that this was the first time she had water for two days
I was shocked to hear this statement as I asked her what did she have for dinner
She didn’t even know what the word “dinner” meant or when you even have it during the day
She looked at her thin and weary body wanting to ask for food but thinking it would be an insult
There was a message waiting to be told…….
